Yes, I've been watch both of these sets recently as well.
I think that they are useful in gauging which sectors are doing better than others. And since these trade continuously they are a much improved type of mutual fund.

That said the only index shares that I currently own are the NASDAQ 100 Trust or QQQ.

And that CBS Market watch article that you mention is the very one that I read before I decided to track these new index funds.
