I don't think my heart can take any more of this, so I got out today at 32 1/4.
Tomorrow could be up 10 or down 10, if it goes up 10 , I will cry, on the other hand if it goes down 10 I will buy,
Arnie

I do not get it: sounds like CommTouch is giving away their stuff for a chance to sell some warrants at a cheaper price to Microsoft.
The distribution agreement is a good thing where are the potential revenue numbers from this deal?

Anyboby with a clue?

Commtouch Launches Premier Email and Calendaring Services for About.com; Web's No. 1 Information Site Showcases New Calendaring Technologies From Commtouch

Business Wire - November 10, 1999 06:18

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 1999--Commtouch Software (Nasdaq:CTCH), a leading global provider of outsourced email for corporations and consumers, announced the premier launch of its new Custom Mail(TM) service with About.com (Nasdaq:BOUT), the Web's leading network of niche vertical sites.

About.com is ranked No. 1 among all news, information and entertainment sites according to Internet market research firm Media Metrix.

Developed by Commtouch for About.com, the Custom Mail calendaring technology will push content concerning upcoming events on the site directly to About.com's members.

Commtouch Custom Mail provides About.com users with advanced email, calendaring and address book capabilities all from inside a single, friendly user interface. About.com's Custom Mail users are able to synchronize their to-do lists, calendar entries and contact information between their personal digital assistants (PDAs) and online Custom Mail accounts.

Online, users see all their contact names with associated email, telephone, fax and pager icons, allowing one-click connections from their Custom Mail address books.

"The new Commtouch Custom Mail service enables us to enhance the overall experience for About.com members and make our services an even more integral part of their lives," said Scott Kurnit, Chairman and CEO of About.com. "This fits nicely with our strategy to actively connect our members with each other, our hundreds of Guides, third party merchants and our new ShoppingAbout e-commerce environments.

"Integration of these new personal productivity tools with email and offline PDAs will help our users stay even closer to their favorite sites within our huge network."

Registered users at About.com can now sign up for a free, personal About.com email account powered by Commtouch and open their personal email address: yourname@About.com. About.com users can immediately begin coordinating their lives and increasing their productivity with Custom Mail's productivity tools.

Wherever About.com users are, their up-to-the-minute productivity information and email messages will be available for modification and review through a password-protected Custom Mail account that is accessible through any web browser on any computer on the planet.

"We are thrilled that a leading Internet company has joined us for the online premier of our new Custom Mail service," explained Commtouch President Isabel Maxwell. "About.com has developed a network of properties that makes them the 'go-to' site for anyone looking for comprehensive information on the Web."
