Gameboy...I gotta thank Slider for his efforts in digging deep into the E & P's for this thread. Fundamentals are screming "upside potential" in that group. January #'s for the independent E & P's should be blowout. Look for revisions upward over the next 2-3 months. NG is already up 50% from what these guys averaged in the last Q and oil is easily $6 higher. -g-

OT....gold is up big in Hong Kong tonight which should boost oil again.

OEI TWST Interview: Hackett's closing comment :

TWST: Today, what is the summary statement or that essential punchline for an investor, the shortlist of highlights and strengths that convince an investor today to buy in?

Mr. Hackett: Tremendous exploration upsides (the ability to triple the size of this company in the next three to four years), an aggressive management team who has a proven track record on the acquisition side and is on its way to proving itself on the exploration side. Importantly, it is a senior management team that is highly equitized, so
its interest are aligned with its shareholders. For example, I do not make any base salary. My base salary was traded in for stock, starting in September of 1998. All of my compensation comes from performance, basically bonuses and equity value. Also, the Chairman of the company is our largest single shareholder. We want to prove that we can play this game better than the average company in our industry by effectively managing our capital expenditures, balance sheet, and cost structure. This goes hand-in-hand with attracting and retaining the best intellectual capital for this company.
