The logical explanation for the lack of CU-Never-Minds (TM Cirruslvr) is that the launch was about 2 months early and a "scramble" move (read, desperate attempt) to gain back the Megahertz crown from AMD.
Amazing how poorly Intel has performed when THEIR backs were against the Megahertz wall...They pulled an AMD!
No CU-Never-Minds, no RAMBUS, no i820 chipsets and no i820 motherboards...
Intel benchs the Cu-Never-Mind on the Carmel chipset and with non buyable RAMBUS (two sticks no less) and expects people to fall for it?
Just so they can beat the Athlon and some benchmarks?
Come on!!! Intel...pathetic...
Show us something we can buy or even afford!
