My theory is that people moved into bonds a day early in anticipation of tommarow's 'flight to safety' after the market reacts negatively to 8:30am numbers. Interesting theory <G>! Remember that the CBOE puts to calls right now are extremely bearish for the market (36-100). With the big name techs selling off today, HWP warning, AMZN following EBAY's weak numbers and few big name blue chips remaining this week (to propel the market higher), I see us selling off whether the numbers are benign or not. Today's 'rally' was the last gasp we will see till early January <G>. One man's opinion. Steve D.
