I agree with it all, about her being incredibly beautiful and sexy and not tarty, more sort of child-like, which was part of the sexiness; except I don't have a good feeling about Kennedy and Marilyn, because I feel as though... well, that it was he who was being bad, and what she was being was something else, and it was not cute, it was more like used. I have read that Bobby had her first and passed her on to Jack.

Maybe it was just naughty fun for Jack and Marilyn; but her ending up dead makes it feel cold and sad to me.

Maybe I'm being hard and cynical.

She was very, very beautiful.

One little bit of Monroe trivia I heard on an LA radio station, dunno if it's true but the source is someone who oughta know:

Monroe was "discovered" while working in an airplane plant during WWII (would she have been old enough?). An Army movie crew was filming in the plant where she worked, and the officer in charge selected her to be in the film. The officer in charge of the Army film crew was Ronald Reagan.
