how many sun.com engineers does it take to keep ebay alive? answer: zero. they LOST the account.

Okay. NEXT!

twister- that's weak. SUNW engineers didn't write the EBay software, nor design it, nor administer it, nor make the purchasing decisions (such as the issue of redundant servers -hello?). Regardless of the vendor, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of EBay engineering problems.

Gee Twister - your not an "Insider" are you? Or do you Twist publicly available trashy gossip to suit your needs. please provide some details on how you know this and which NT machine did they replace the starfires with?

Ebay was pretty high on posting about the new dual starfires they just put on line - Whats the total number they have 4 or 5? i wonder how much trade in value there going to get on them for a mainframe?
