No, I don't have AOL. How about West Kentucky Rural Telephone Cooperative Corporation? Yup, that's it. Had it since April, never had a bit of trouble with it. It is the fourth ISP I have had in 2.5 years and it is the best. Just began last December, has very few customers, and I don't tell anyone how good it is because I don't want them signing up.

Bought this computer because of Fidelity Investments new program PowerStreet. They said I had to have IE5, didn't bother to tell me that I also had to be connected at 56K.
So I am connected at 26,600 at best 24,000 at worst, so I cannot load PowerStreet because it times out. Fidelity is getting complaints from all their rural customers but there is nothing they can do. So anyway, I have a nice computer with a 17" screen instead of the laptop I have used for over two years. It's only money!! (LOL)

And another site I've belonged to since June, thewallstreetinvestor, works much better on IE5 although he is making it work well with Netscape now too.

I just did what Jon said, changed from Outlook to Outlook Express and so far the ISP hasn't disappeared. I can't find the place for mail options to set it to check for mail every 5 minutes.

I know you are a Win95 and Netscape person. You are outnumbered here, I know. But I'm with you on Netscape.

I know I can download Netscape but it's massive now that it includes RealPlayer. I just missed the 4.61 version by a couple of days. Since I am already one of the "guinea pigs" to try Microsoft Office 2000, I thought I would wait a little while to download the Netscape 4.7 before I become a "guinea pig" to test that one too. If I had ordered this computer a month earlier, I could have gotten Office 97.

Yup, I have more power and capabilities than an old lady needs out here in the boonies. Maybe one of these days I will locate a person who knows about all this fancy stuff and can teach me what it will do. I bought a 600-page book on Office 2000, but who wants to read books when they can read the Internet.

I'll post in a day or so and let you folks know if this worked. I think it will as it still has not faded away. Nice talking to you and thanks for the help.

Now if the new SI will let me post this, I will be all set. Had trouble with my message to John.
