John--I am not all that surprised by the lack of real racing in the first round. Many don't want to show their hands just yet and others want to prep their boats. At this point, because of this sand bagging, I don't think it is possible to be accurate at all in picking the leaders among the challengers. I continue to think that the eventual challenger will handle the Kiwis easily.
One thing I dread and expect is for bad sportsmanship to rear its head. Sadly it is an Americas Cup tradition. So far the Kiwis sailing through the area where a race was going on is the only incident and it is minor.
All the Best
Druss
