Jeffery: I was a buy and hold long in 98. After watching shorts have a field day, I too have been playing mostly long but short when it was in my advantage. Currently, I have MAY 80 and 85 covered calls. Hopefully some short paid me for the option. I got about 10 pts so if RMBS dips 4-5 pts., I don't worry. I only have to deal with the 50's or 80's now. Something tells me if Intel keeps the party line about RMBS and releases 820 in 4Q before they provide chipset for PC133 and DDR in 00 I will not have to deal with either situation until it is clear which way RDRAM story is going to go. john
