<<Ashok Kumar, an analyst with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray. "Once you let Dell into your account, it's almost like a parasite. You can't get rid of it." >>

Kemble: Love that quote.....yet, I sure wish DELL's stock price would respond .....some of us got spoiled with the triple digit returns DELL delivered in prior years.<VBG>...now we have to go to other places to find those substantial returns. Most of my money is outside the PC industry right now....the market sentiment in this field is not very good at this point and time. Unfortunately, we can't control that.

Look at FFIV today....it was up 38%....this Seattle pioneer in the internet infrastructure area is not fooling around -- in the most recent quarter sales were up over 600%..!! There are some great investing opportunities today. Yet, right now I am not in love with the high market cap. stocks.

I think DELL will have a better year in 2000 and start to deliver returns more like a CSCO or a MSFT going forward. Just my views.

Best Regards,

Scott
