Mike's heard this but the thread hasn't...<g> The other day I was chatting with a Silicon Alley friend who's putting together a software startup. It struck me as being a version of CRM applied to a slightly different purpose than usual, and I said so, liberally dropping all sorts of knowing tidbits about the front office software arena stolen directly from Merlin et al. The woman's jaw dropped and her eyes bulged, and she's now begging me to read her patent filings and business plan to give her advice, tips, and so forth.
