The ECI and GDP/Deflator produced a non-cataclysmic scare earlier in the week. In fact, it produced a friendly view today! S&P future are up 19. or so, so I think we go up here. Pre market showing nice gains.

OK, since we are going up, how may are going to sell into this rally? I think that the market's already discounted that Fed funds rate hike to 5.5 (ie .25 basis point increase early next month...), and if so.....

Is it safer now to be long vs short? Is it more prudent to be long vs short or stay more in cash?

Thean, most likely you were right about CNXT technically, as I've always valued your expertise here. However, there's a pretty strong wind today with the econ number being right. I think with the financials being rejuvenated and the inflation numbers being good, it's possibly like mixing sodium metal and water.......?
