There's not that much activity on this board. Especially since we've seen such a nice increase lately.

I've been long this stock in an IRA for a couple of years now and consider myself a long term investor. Even though I'm not a day trader, I keep this stock up on my screen and I'm amazed at the short term volatility of the stock. One minute it's up 6 points and a few moments later it's down or flat.

Can somebody give me any insight into this? This is probably the most volatile (short term) stock I follow. The other thing is that the bid/ask spread seems excessive at times.

Is the float so low that it's difficult to maintain an orderly market? Are the MM's just screwing people on a buy/sell market order?
