It is interesting that Susquehanna Partners (the derivatives/options firm that has been rumored to be in talks with NITE) is also now a player in EASDAQ.

Their offerings of derivatives on EASDAQ would dovetail nicely with NITE's plans to:

1. Establish an options business in the U.S. by buying a player, and,

2. Establish European dominance in equity markets (and by implication, forge ahead in options/derivatives in Europe via Susquehanna Partners' soon-to-be-established presence there).

This is just another hint that points to Susquehanna Partners as the one to be tapped by NITE for its options business.

In the Q3 conf call, KP said they'd be announcing the acquisition during Q4. October is already gone, so that would imply an announcement during the next 3 weeks before Thanksgiving, IMO.
