Haim,

My current experience with Win2000 is positive

Mine too with build 2128, although I had problems with the earlier builds. Previously I used NT4 and I find the plug&play and USB support of W2000 a tremendous advantage.

The biggest problem is with install scripts that won't recognise W2000.

Haim - Re: ". I think the performance needs a bit of a boost, but I like it better than NT4. Currently NT4 is more robust and is used for "critical" work... but there are times we need to use beta OS's when preparing SW for their release."

Thanks for that input.

Looks like Feb 17, 2000 you can get the "FINAL" version of Windows 2000.

Paul

Haim, <My current experience with Win2000 is positive. I think the performance needs a bit of a boost,>

And what better way to boost Win2K's performance than with an ultra-fast Xeon!
