Actually Roger is the latest recipient of a new kinder gentler Yankee outreach program. It pains us to see so many great Red Sox players spend their careers without a hope of a World Series ring. So we are going to start taking them on late in their careers and get them to the promised land. It pains us that we are to late to help Yaz and Rice but we've already taken care of Wade. Ten years from now we'll take on Pedro for middle relief and Nomar as a back up utility infielder. Just trying to help out the less fortunate :)
