Rumor has it that after the year 2000 data is in, they will revise the GDP for every year of the 20th century <VBG>

"..The government also released benchmark revisions dating to 1959 showing the economy grew at a 4.3 percent rate in 1998 and 4.5 percent in 1997, both faster than the 3.9 percent previously reported. First-quarter GDP was revised lower to a 3.7 percent rate from 4.3 percent.
