<<<Better off peddling anecdotal evidence>>> That is what the studies are for - to provide more than just anecdotes. Hank's anecdote should be on the same level to you, then, especially since his "experience" began roughly the same time the link below was posted. This is a cut and paste and the following quotation marks are not mine :
<[Updates on my medical condition will be given daily until I am "cured".]>

<<Most people will see through this misleading advertising in the long run. That's my opinion.>> You are entitled to your adjectives and opinion and we shall see. I think the advertising will be supported by real data within a month or less, according to press releases. That's my opinion.

<I rest more, take cold medicine (Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine and Nyquil at night)..>

By your own admission, you took cold medicine. Zicam will get its share of the market, and given the company's small size, the market will have a big impact on its earnings.

<Most people will see through this misleading advertising in the long run.>

The 10 to 14 day average duration for the common cold is supported by numerous research over the last few years that is completely unrelated to Gel Tech or Gumtech. There's nothing misleading at all in anything that Gumtech has said about Zicam.
