I agree that "nuclear winter" and "meltup" are overstatements. IMO, we will see a corporate reluctance to purchase new general business software prior to Y2K (not a "nuclear winter") and a corresponding catch-up period (not a "meltup") after the Y2K issues get resolved. I know that's how my company is working it.
