You make all good points. But his intercession did in fact end WW I favorably. Yes, like a wimp, he let Germany off the hook and made WW II possible.

He won the Nobel Peace prize in 1919, established lower tariffs, and regulated some businesses which were running out of control. Child labor laws are good, wouldn't you agree?

I'm not crazy about him, but he's in there anyway.

A "Rush" caller just reported (later confirmed) that when asked about his picks for three most admirable (or something of the sort) leaders, Bill Bradley last night named -- Carter, Wilson and Gorby.

Perhaps someone should ring the former senator's office and invite him to join the "Lions" thread!
