Wow, so they are using it to woo new customers. You know when you first posted that link I did look into it, but I did nothing because I remember seeing a 1/31 expiration date - thought I had plenty of time! Meanwhile, you can open an account under a name that doesn't match your credit card (you mentioned your child's name)? If this is the case, you could make up endless usernames. All you have to do is sign up for every free email account you can get and use a different email address for each, right? Meanwhile did you see VUSA hit 12 today - now back to 11.50 - see what I mean about trading it? If you are more of an investor stay away from it - bad performance since it IPO'd - I got it at the IPO price and sold it at 55 the next day. Unfortunately, when it first started dipping I picked up a small position in the 30's and held it - bad move! But I have traded it a number of times since its' major drop and have done well.
