-X: This is the one valid point that has been raised by an investor to date. HOWEVER is MSFT trying to mislead to the high side? They have guided the investment community upwards and surely they have the visibility to do that or they wouldn't do it.

Additionally what large new product has been introduced in this qrtr. that would ring up prior sales that would flow into the next. We have to take the success of W2K on faith but I don't find that a stretch as 78% of all NT4 IT managers surveyed said that they are going to migrate to W2K.

Funds, however, must feel the need to provide excuses for their poor judgement and at least this one has a grain of truth to it.
