Hockeyfan, Could be on the information networks....but the smart card program rolls now....see the DOD press release issued yesterday. $147 million over a few years....Card stock, design, and so on the first year. (Budget year 2000....starts in 3 days) And this is a pilot for the rest of the GSA.......Jeeesh, monster money in this over 5 years. Chip cards, baby......and VRSN just got the nod on the certificate end the day before yeaterday. Our partners ought to be all over this chip card....and the specs do show biometrics. Also.....whoever is attending the annual meeting.....needs to get the China factory details......Size, scope, volume, markets,......and so on. Must read the reports tonight.....on the thread. Thanks to anyone going....and making sure China is on the discussion floor. bg
