Now that is pure poetry.

NHP,

Be careful - there are no specs on that site - everything carries a "possible" or "potential" clause! The site is a very nice PR exercise but contains no solid information of any type - not even a list of some of the patents. All the technologies are being developed overseas (Israel, Ukraine and Russia) - the US office appears to be just a mechanism to raise funds.

I did a quick check on all of the principals listed under the contacts section and only the Principal Scientist (or some one with the same surname and initials) has published anything in any of the Optical Society of America publications between 1916 and 1998 and that was only two papers (not about optical storage) back in the mid 80s.

It is highly likely that any significant advances in optical storage would be published in either an OSA or SPIE journal - the SPIE back publications are not so convenient to check.

Invox Patents

Here are some of the Invox patents. I assume that some or all of them now belong to SanDisk.
