Don, yesterday's CBOE overall put/call ratios were on the bullish side of neutral. however, i have noticed that for several days now the contract as well as the dollar volume in index puts has been very small. that usually indicates that there is complacency, as neither hedging strategies are actively pursued nor many speculative bets on falling prices are made. so far today the OEX put/call ratio doesn't seem to lean too heavily on the call side...but it's too early to draw conclusions from that. have to wait for the end of day numbers on all index options combined.

regards,

hb
