Thomas - First, let me say again how much I have enjoyed this thread. Not just writing, but reading as well. I often find myself quietly chuckling, sighing, and sometimes even gasping at my desk during the workday as I peruse these posts. In addition to contributing original work, I get a particular thrill out of taking the tales of others and reweaving them with either a mockery of the style or rhythm, or adding to them what I hope is an unexpected twist, or perhaps simply rewriting them from a different perspective as I did earlier this week with your Indigents... story. I don't do this out of any disrespect for the original stories or their authors. To me, it is the free-for-all environment with only that one certain rule of fifty words that enables this thread to work. Please let's keep it that way. -R
