no so fast bw... they have to get rid of their 17,000 useless brokers in their payroll first, start growing at a 100% rate year over year, own a bank, have a financial portal, and spend huge amounts of money in marketing to remove their oudated images. "Paine Webber", "Lehman Brothers" might mean much to your grandfather, but to me they mean "old farts". by that time, millions of etraders will have real-time access to major world markets 24 hs a day through our E*Trade U.S.A. accounts, and "broker" as a profession will be a distant memory
