More thoughts on eBay - After doing a test in LA, eBay unveiled 50 or so regional auctions. The idea, of course, is that larger items can be sold this way, such as used cars, pianos, whatever. The target is local newspapers and one of their key revenue producers - the classified ad.

Anyone who has ever had the displeasure of calling in one of those, or squinting to read "If u nd a gd car w/AT, A/C..." will readily appreciate being able to see full descriptions, color photos and accessible information on prior sales of similar items.

It will be interesting to see how this new feature works out.
