The link got me curious.....It looks like SK Telecom has rolled out 64kbps service. Now we just have to wait for the first announcements that CDMA will be built into laptops for Korea.

SK Telecom has also launched "n.TOP" a, new wireless data service making available the world's first 114Kbps IS-95B service starting on August 16, 1999. n.Top is a wireless data service designed to offer useful contents encompassing
wide-ranging subjects as the Korean
society turns into a network-driven
information society. And also, called
"N-Generation" (short for Network
Generation) is increasingly taking the
center stage in the political, economic,
social and cultural arena. SK Telecom
wants to realize a network "on-the-move"
by upgrading the lifestyles of mobile users
with new service. Because of this
high-speed transmission capability, Speed 011 users will be able to hook up their mobile phones and notebook PCs to access online services comparable to wireline services such as Internet broadcasts.
