Bobby, the difference being that at the time the ratio of short vs. long bond funds was much higher. but i'm not complaining...i have calls on bonds. of course i originally expected them to get a flight to safety bid due to weakening stocks....now it seems they want to rally together. the ST cycles point up into November expiration, however, the market turned in the middle of the last two ST cycles and it may do so yet again. still, the market's strength in the face of much adversity lately is impressive. regards, hb
