The most that can be said about that performance is that AOL is not currently a stock people are thinking much about, either from a buy or sell point of view.

Steve, I would respectfully disagree with you. I believe investors were looking for a split and it wasn't announced. But more significantly, I believe the unresolved broadband issue with T/ATHM has placed a damper on this, and T's, share price.

While I do not subscribe to the theory that high speed internet access via cable modem is the be all and end all, many investors apparently believe this to be the case.

Good luck.

Steve. Sometimes when outsiders think they know better than insiders, perception can be muted. For instance the cable situation.

What I liked best at that meeting was the statement (again) from S. Case that they are working on their goal to be the most valuable company. I have a little time left to wait and see. gg.

Everybody was probably waiting for a split despite some talk that it's probably not even wise to do so. Again, perception. I guess deep down EVERYONE wants a split.

But the Board has the authorization now to do what they think is best for AOL and the shareholders. I think that I heard somewhere that AOL would like to split the stock at least once a year. Well, that's not far away and maybe we will get a Holiday present. Not that it would make us any richer at that time.

I have to say that all those answers to the split questions sounded sheepish to me. gg. Maybe, maybe.
