If you are trading more than 2k shares($20), it's of no benefit. I would rather stick with Cybercorp and Cyberx with it's 14.95 and 19.95 trades. I have found most of my trades ammount for no more than 21-22 a trade, which is great considering the ultra-fast executions.

I wonder how good their [interactivebrokers.com] trading software is?

The software is downloadable and usable in a limited demo mode. Although it runs under Windows the UI is reminiscent of DOS software ca. 1982 or so.
