Binx and thread: The PCWorld story is about the last straw. We are led to believe that SanDisk leads the world in flash memory production, patents and OEM design wins, and yet again, here is an article in which the company is not even mentioned. It's kind of like doing a story on US auto manufacturing and forgetting to mention Ford. It is just unfathomable. People at SanDisk should be ashamed. - Don

Unbelievable! But then a lot of the e-magazine articles seem to be short on details and facts. I think many are rushed into "print" without a lot of checking. Also - so that you don't think I made a shameless plug for e.Digital a few posts back -- that company has had a "friendly" relationship with SNDK for several years and has even shared booth space with them at certain trade shows. Binx, The height of incompetence for the printed media was the NY Times article that all but excluded CompactFlash from a cover story in the high tech section each week called "Circuits". It would almost seem that the omission was intentional or the writer was a complete idiot. The author was an imbecile named Michel Marriott. Ausdauer SanDisk...See the Big Picture
