Brad,
How about a scared short offering to sell some extra IDX at $7.00? If I was a short I would be scared. If I wanted to sell at 6 or 7 I imagine I could find a buyer. This would not be logical except that if I were a short who gambled on the earnings drop I could really get burned when the IDX-China connection reaches Reuters or Bloomberg. Matter of fact why couldn't a short with a lot of shares dump them today to make sure the price does not go up. Would that be an example of a "covered short?"
Dave
PS BTW Nice scoop on the China connection-definitely worth a Wendell.
