JFD, the opportunity to load up on MSFT is not going to remain open for long. My bet is that by Monday when it gets added to the Dow, I would expect it to bounce. Given the way Intel has responded today and afterhours, I think MSFT goes higher.

However, the bigger gains are probably left until we get close to the end of the year and closer to W2K launch. That could change if MSFT makes some comments to discuss the Rich Sherlund comments OR a not all one sided report from Judge Jackson.

I consider at least safe money. MSFT won't let the stock remain below 90----can announce stock buy back increases; aggressively buy back; and lots of other possibilities.
I don't think they want it below 100 either.

BTW--I remember Maffei say during the CC that once W2K is launched it will also improve sales of all their product lines geared towards corporations. MSFT is still my favorite that i plan to ride into Y2K. Just has not been a good short term play.
