At the risk of being repetitive to my earlier post, it is entirely possible that the drop is due to the very early morning news that GBLX is buying Hutchison's share in VSTR. This hit wires before Europe started trading this a.m. but analysts may have missed it earlier. I know I did!

Hong Kong: October 28, Scott Blanchard, director of Asian sales trading at ABN AMRO Asia, said Hutchison and Cheung Kong were also lifted by market talk that Hutchison would sell its stake in U.S. GSM network VoiceStream Wireless (NasdaqNM:VSTR - news) to Global Crossing (NasdaqNM:GBLX - news).
