Despite the high total volume today, it seems to have been a
big-cap stock day, not a small-cap stock day, so the true
profits for NITE would not be as strong as might otherwise
be suggested.

I say this for several reasons:

1. NITE's market share declined today, which it does when
small caps are less in vogue.

2. NITE only made a market in 3,900 stocks today. Ordinarily,
NITE makes a market in about 4,400 different stocks. Trading,
then, was more concentrated today in the bigger issues with
less profitable spreads.
