Re HWP. Does anyone believe as I do that HWP server business is hurting because DELL ate their lunch. If the sales force is being reorganized at HWP, it is likely because of all the contracts they failed to win. Was reviewing the DELL financials last night. Friend was doing a school project and had DELL as the subject of analysis. Any other company out there would kill for DELL's ROE,ROA, relative cash generation. most marked was the days of inventory decline over the past 3 years. DELL PE should be at least 2X its growth rate. Look at POS PCLN - cumulative deficit over $243 Million - no hope of profitability in the near future - market cap 9 Billion. Poor old CTIX makes a profit -heaven forbid - and has a market cap of $300 mill and 46X 2000 earnings. The market seems drawn to advertising hype - not reality. Maybe DELL should hire Capt Kirk to entice people to bid against the DELL secret minimum price.
