Jim, I would say: GE, C and AXP.

GE may be my prime choice with 5% growth
and PE above 40. It may not be a pure
financial play but who cares.

Jim, The big future derivative and stock margin disasters: Chase, Citi and Morgan Stanley. I also hate Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae for their borrow short, lend long leverage in a period of rising rates. I've had puts on them for awhile and they've come down a bunch, so I wouldn't add right now. But any return toward 52 week highs is a golden put opportunity in these two govt. waste programs.
