Actually, the original Celeron was MUCH worse !

Not only was availability "low", there were only a few "token" OEMS (GOD BLESS every Loyal One of them !) that signed up for that chip.

And where is the current Celeron ?

Well - you read the Slides, Chuckles ! Intel's Celeron is in 60% of every RETAIL PC today - and INCREASING MARKET SHARE as we type !

That's what's known as a come-from-behind victory. The great ones are noted for that - Marino, Elway, Montana, Fahvre and now Intel !
