Dear Barney, It is wrong and we can see the fruit of it from people like precious Anne and those that lived to share their testimony. DId you read her last statement that she still believed that most people are good. Wow, I am ready to give up on all mankind at least twice a day and I have never come close to the persecution she experienced. The world lost a beautiful flower when she died so young as so many others did Jew and non Jew because of the hatred of people. You know some people on these threads are feeding the exact same beast as in Germany and it can happen again if we ignore it. I know so many like Anne Frank and when they condemn Jews as a group they include them and that is wrong. The movie is good and it is good to see it because she dreamed of being an actress in the movies when she grew up. There is another documentary at Blockbuster if you have them where you are called "The long way home". I did not realise until I saw this just how much they suffered to get there after the war. So many were left with absolutely nothing so they were driven by the request of family that were murdered to go to Palestine and establish a home so this will never happen again. The ones that tried to stay in Europe quickly found that anti-Semitism had not been destroyed by the war but was the same if not worse. The documentary shows the camps and the horrible conditions of them to the English boats where they faced outright persecution again and then the Arabs when they got there after many dying of starvation on the boats.
