IMO this isld/sandpiper merger isn't about sell on news. the news was out on monday. the issue here is valuation of the new isld/sandpiper combination in relation to its chief competitor which will debut today at a pretty hefty premium compared to the highly discounted 59/share isld is trading at. I will hold onto isld until the market valuations have struck a reasonable balance between AKAM and ISLD/sandpiper, an event that will not begin to unfold until akam opens and settles down. MSDW has raised the number of shares and upped the pricing range twice in last two days. then priced last night at upper limit of range. Bottom line: isld has a lot of room upside, perhaps beyond my pre-AKAM ipo open target of 85. best to all for all will profit
