Well it was unfair as the lettuce is on sale. The point being that one of the biggest components in Northeast lettuce is transportation cost (oil). If they can afford to put lettuce on sale as it comes all the way from CA-NH (and everyone pays freight) then we can see that freight (oil) is not coming through in the price of shipped commodities. As I remember you are the guy who manage to spend 20 dollars on a home made salad. If I am wrong forgive me but you have to sharpen up your shopping and culinary skills. As I have insisted in prior posts inflation is a phantom. JFD
