Bilow- Re: "Actually what AMD is quoted as saying is (my emphasis): "We do not know of any outright pressure." The inference is that they do know of some "pressure," but that it isn't "outright," whatever that means."

So the implication is that Intel is APPLYING pressure to EVERY MOTHERBOARD MANUFACTURER this side of Mars and suddenly 27 different AthWIPE Motherboards show up today !!!!

Do you SEE a problem with your LOGIC ?

By the way - AMD won't report their losses for another 2 1/2 months - so you have PLENTY of TIME to create some NEW EXCUSES why AMD will lose money this quarter.

Better get started !

Paul

RE <<Hi tejek; Actually what AMD is quoted as saying is (my emphasis): "We do not know of any outright pressure." The inference is that they do know of some "pressure," but that it isn't....>>>

Carl, the portion of the above text which reads "We do not know of any outright pressure" is a different font than the rest of the paragraph.

In addition the word "outright" is in bold text. Did you have anything to do with that?
