Yes, the Phoenix Hall, in Uji. My sources say built 1053 A.D. during the Heian period (794-1195), but who wants to niggle over a mere 100 years? Condidered one of the architectural masterpieces of Asia (by some), the Hall is one of the few Heian structures still standing. Better stop me before I bore you tears...
