D-I-T-T-O! Now in follow up to my last more optomistic post....here is my current personal perspective on ECNC based upon daily observations and running multiple backchannels on most issues we have faced over the past 6 months. I am still long and strong....but I am approaching a personal waterloo in my investment here. My continued participation and support of this company in the near term (30-60 days) relies heavily upon the success of the beta testing and live implementation of cash2trade and safetpay, and to a lesser degree the related testing and implementation on the auction/gaming sites and with on line vendors. This is what we have waited for SO LONG. If it does not work out or developes delays....I will take a long heavy think and I may have to bail and move on. I DO NOT expect that to happen....but plan for the worst and hope for the best I always say! Now....if that hurdle is crossed and our dreams finally realized with national/global exposure, real revenues of significant sums in relation to our expectations of our potential and investment, and real contracts with larger companies then I will be placated for awhile. The next hurdle still looms. I do not yet have a feel for a time frame on the next big hurdle for our company....probably 3-6 months into next year....maybe longer if things are going well and not getting screwed up. The next big hurdle I see for us may put us/me in direct conflict with Tom, which saddens me greatly. I think you all know by now my position on Tom as CEO into the future. NO WAY, imho. Tom is our visionary and our ultimate source of energy and optimism. That is a role he vitally needs to continue to fill for us into the future and can be done in a position of less daily control than that of CEO. But he does not want to give up ANY control, from what I can tell in discussing this issue with him directly. At some point....and it has been building now....the shareholders are going to tire of the misteps, forgotten deals, and lost opportunities and look to Tom for answers and a solution. I believe that a time will come next year when a change in management and a more independent board (unlike the one Tom has now and controls 100%) are demanded by the minority shareholders. In an attempt to diffuse this issue I am raising it now as both a warning and an opportunity to ease the heat of the conflict by spreading it out over time rather than letting it simmer and heat up into an explosion. I want to debate this over the next many months as the primary issues/hurdles are being dealt with and try to form a consensus amongst ourselve. Hell.....maybe I am reading ya'll wrong and I'm way off base. Tell me. Let's talk about it. Let's identify whay about this issue concerns us, how we can deal with it and what solutions/compromises we can offer. Then maybe it can become a constructive rather than destructive issue. I think most of you know I only come out like this on issues that are very close to my heart and which truely concern me. This is the only other issue I see that if the beta testing and implementation occur on schedule successfully this winter, could still knock me out of this company and send me on down the road, sadder but wiser. The forum is open for discussion.
