Eric, I read the ARCA link and noticed that they said it allows you to place an order above the offer and below the bid, but they didn't say you might get a better price. I take that to mean whatever price you enter you will be filled at that price. However, sometimes I trade up to 5000 shares so ARCA might come in handy, I will just have to be more careful.

Actually, you can get price improvement using ARCA buy orders priced above the inside ask (or sell orders below bid). The following link talks a little more about that: #reply-11431506
