Well, its this almost empty building, you see. They seem to have lost the walls for most of it some time back, so Martha and I figure it must get pretty cold there during the autumn and the winter, what with the cooling effect of that huge fish pond that covers the entire front of the building. Some people say you can see the building reflected in the pond, but all I saw were some awful big goldfish. I guess they call it the phoenix hall because the wings of the building supposedly make it look like a phoenix in flight. Now, I never heard of a phoenix, but it does look like a griffin to me.

We got some real pretty pictures but they didn't develop quite right. Let me see if I can find one and post it for you. We also left a ten-yen coin to help them get some new walls.

You know I had an idea here Gaugs. When jp goes in and has her surgery, we should go visit her. Stay at her place so she wouldn't have to worry about it being empty. Tell her about the parties we have.
