I intercepted this memo going around between women in the office! Even tho it's meant to be humorous, I think it reflects on how women truly feel about their only means of early breast cancer detection.

Mr. Packer.. I hope your wife is not the jealous type. I think you are going to have a ton of new women friends! LOL

Subject: MAMOGRAM
Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, but there is no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each day for a week preceding the exam and doing the following practice exercises, you will be totally prepared for the test, and best of all, you can do these simple practice exercises right in your home.

EXERCISE 1:
Open your refrigerator door and insert one breast between the door and the main box. Have one of your strongest friends slam the door shut as hard as possible and lean on the door for good measure. Hold that position for five seconds. Repeat again in case the first time wasn't effective enough.

EXERCISE 2:
Visit your garage at 3 AM when the temperature of the cement floor is just perfect. Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the floor with one breast wedged under the rear tire of the car. Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is sufficiently lattened and chilled. Turn over and repeat for the other breast.

EXERCISE 3:
Freeze two metal bookends overnight. Strip to the waist. Invite a stranger into the room. Press the bookends against one of your breasts. Smash the bookends together as hard as you can. Set an appointment with the stranger to meet next year and do it again. You are now properly prepared.

Just a thought for all the women out there. MENtal illness, MENstrual cramps, MENtal breakdown, MENopause. Ever notice how all of women's problems start with men? Send this to all of the women you know and brighten their day!!! ....and when we have real trouble, it's HYsterectomy.

janks, re: foreign sales, short fellas, etc.

i have given up waiting for the "foreign sales." i know they are in the pipeline, or mr. packer would not have mentioned it in his press release.

there is a large short position out there, but i personally do not know any of the shorters, but i know people who do. also the stock behaves like there is a large short position. but i also have the gut feeling that some of them will leave over the next few months as their losses mount.

the company is executing on many fronts, including preparing some modules for submission, working on the deal with sutro, working with the FDA, and setting up strategic alliances for their roll out next year--some or all of them will come to fruition within the next couple months.

when you are talking about deals that involve multiple millions of dollars, it doesn't always happen right away.

but when a company with such a talented management team is working diligently for shareholders. and they have such a compelling technology that will save lives and make millions, i give them some slack.

after all i was telling everyone to load up when the stock was at .60-.70 because all of these issues were just starting to be discuessed. i am glad i took my own advice.

my advice? i don't know where the stock will be in 2 weeks, but it will be much higher in 2 months and DRAMATICALLY higher in 2 years. :-)
